Trump Eligible to Stay on US Primary Election Ballots
Supreme Court Rules 9-0
Voters' Lawsuit Rejected
The Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Monday that former President Donald Trump is eligible to appear on primary election ballots in Colorado and other states. The decision comes in response to a lawsuit filed by a group of Colorado voters who argued that Trump is ineligible under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which prohibits anyone who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion from holding public office.
